I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I once wrote the epic tale of group of plucky rebels resisting an oppressive galactic empire. (This was in no way influenced by any movies I might have seen.) My story had a unique twist: almost everybody - good guys, bad guys, bystanders - died in the final battle, so the victorious-but-depressed hero committed suicide at the end. Yes.
I was probably in second or third grade when I wrote that one.
I showed it to my dad, who read the whole thing! All three wide-ruled pages! He said, "Hmm. That's interesting."
Since then, I've always been writing something. Poetry, short stories, comics scripts, essays, rants. I'm working on a few longer projects right now, as well, and will update this site as information about them becomes available.
In the meantime, I will post shorter pieces to my blog. I hope that my readers will be able to say, in all seriousness, "Hmm. That's interesting."
